🗓️ Typical Medi-Cal Application Timeline ⏩ Faster Approval Possible If:

Approval for Medi-Cal in California typically takes up to 45 days from the date your completed application is received. However, timelines may vary based on how complete your application is and how busy your local county office is.

Make sure to include information that will lower your SOC (Share of Cost). Goal is for a $0 SOC to be eligible for caregiving waiver programs. The most common way to lower SOC if your income is too high is through the purchase of a supplemental health plan.
